There are a lot of options in the wide range of PayPal's payment solutions. You can complete most of the basic options yourself for Website Payments Standard, using the extensive online tools provided by PayPal. Most of the other PayPal solutions require considerably more technical expertise. We suggest you start by looking at our PayPal Frequently Asked Questions. Before we can help you with integrating PayPal into your business website there are a number of steps you will need to complete.

  1. Create a Business Account, Start here...
  2. Review the types of PayPal solutions and determine what you think might be the best fit, Go here...
  3. Complete the "Free PayPal Help Estimate" form. What you will get back, as an email, is a brief summary of your needs and possibly some suggestions. If you provide enough information, we will create a "Quick Estimate" of the cost to implement your solution. By completing the PayPal Help Estimate, we will do the following:
    1. We first reply with a FREE brief analysis based on the information provided. The more information you provide the better we can advise you.
    2. At your request, we contact you for a FREE 15 minute phone conference to clarify your "general" needs and allow you a chance to determine if we can be of service.
    3. Then, depending on that conversation and your wishes, we might:
      1. Determine that more time is needed to outline the scope and details of your project. In that case you purchase a "Needs Assessment"
      2. Determine that you just need ongoing Consulting for your project. In that case you purchase a "Consulting Package"
      3. Determine that you require programming tasks. In that case you purchase a "Custom Needs Assessment" of which a proposal is generated for your project
  4. If you need more help figuring out your needs and you don't want to fill out the Help Estimate form: consider on of our "Needs Assessment" packages.

If you have a detailed specification of your project, then send that specification to us by clicking the "Submit Specification" button, and we will generate a quick proposal. (Note: The accuracy of that proposal is completely dependent on the completeness of your specification. We make no assumptions of features or components required.)

What are the costs?

We have tried to provide a number of packages in which we have streamlined the development process so that you save money, While those packages offer discounts on our services, most of our consulting services are based on an hourly estimate with an hourly rate of $125.00. The minimum charge for any service is $125.00. All charges are estimated in advance, and for the packages, pre-paid.

Consulting Packages

There can be times when you will need some consulting time before we can determine your needs, but we try and minimize this by providing an extensive "PayPal Help Estimate" form as a free service. We also offer "Needs Assessment" packages , in which we will help you outline the majority of your needs in a document based on a 30 minute pre-paid phone consultation. A portion of your "Needs Assessment" package will be applied to your project, if you decide to use our services.

We also have General Consulting packages that will help you get past your current barriers quickly and cost effectively. You could spend hours finding solutions, and time is money. In the end you have to decide the value of your time verses getting the answer "right now" so you can move forward and get the job done.

One of our most frequent queries for help is someone that has already paid a "developer" for something that they could not seem to do. Money and time has been wasted. It is not uncommon in this industry to say that you can do something and then hope you can figure it out later. We are not cheap, but if it can be done, we can do it, and do it right the first time. In the end, this will generally be cheaper. Our team has over 25 years of application development experience. Our experience is a better guide as to what can be done within your budget. We also better understand what issues can become "black holes" of time and money and what issues can be clearly defined. We were part of the birth of the internet. Much of the technology in use today we have been using before it even had a name.

Small Projects

The "Web Development Guidelines" document will seem like overkill for really small projects, and quite frankly you are right. So we have taken that document and customized it to target uniquely small project issues. You are encouraged to download both, but if your project is under $15k to $20k the "Small Web Project Guidelines" will better address your issues.
