WPPro - Subscriptions or Recurring Payments

General Description

PayPal Subscriptions web application uses PayPal's Website Payments Pro and its Direct , Recurring, and Express payment features. The behavior of the payment page can be modified by making changes to the configuration files. An installation document is provided that outlines all settings and their effects. The source version allows for more extensive customizations. Subscriptions differs only slightly from the Donations version in that there is no "single" payment available and the default terminology is geared toward subscription requirements.

Requirements

  1. PHP 5.x or greater with MySQL extensions
  2. MySQL 5.x or greater.
  3. Hosting management tools for installation of files, creation and configuration of database, and setting file permissions
  4. Hosting site must be configured for SSL certificates. This is NOT provided and must be setup with your Hosting provider.

Skill Level Requirements

Installation, configuration and use of this application requires understanding and minimal experience in the following areas:

  1. Basic PHP coding and syntax
  2. Hosting configuration
  3. SSL configuration
  4. Database configuration and setup

Demo

You can try out a demo of the subscription and recurring payments system at the following link. All the the Sandbox information is included in the demo with the exception of the Express Checkout. This requires that the Sandbox is in a "login" state. Obviously this is not possible in a public demo, so the Express Checkout part of the demo will not function correctly as a demo.

Two versions are available: Non-Source and Source. The both versions allow you to customize the webpages and alter the look and feel of the application. Both allow you to embed the core into your own website.
