This is the perfect solution if you want a little more than just a PayPal button but are not ready for a full shopping cart.
The MicroCart is geared to simplicity. The "products" web page defines what products you are selling and that can be edited without touching the underlying code. It is recommended for a limited number of products, preferably one or two is best. Hidden fields in the web page define the price, description and a product identification. It can also be customized to handle other product attributes (source version only).
The MicroCart web application uses PayPal's Website Payments Pro and its Direct , and Express payment features. The behavior of the payment page can be modified by making changes to the configuration files. An installation document is provided that outlines all settings and their effects. The source version allows for more extensive customizations.

You can try out a demo of the micro cart system at the following link. All the the Sandbox information is included in the demo with the exception of the Express Checkout. This requires that the Sandbox is in a "login" state. Obviously this is not possible in a public demo, so the Express Checkout part of the demo will not function correctly as a demo.

Pricing and Purchase Options
Two versions are available: Non-Source and Source. The both versions allow you to customize the web pages and alter the look and feel of the application. Both allow you to embed the core into your own website. Applications do NOT come with technical support unless so specified. There are two levels of technical support offered with specific packages:
- Standard Technical Support (STSupport) - This is support by email only. All support is provided in minimum increments of 15 minutes.

Requirements
- PHP 5.x or greater with MySQL extensions
- MySQL 5.x or greater.
- Hosting management tools for installation of files, creation and configuration of database, and setting file permissions
- Hosting site must be configured for SSL certificates. This is NOT provided and must be setup with your Hosting provider.
